After several years as a stay-at-home dad, I began a new chapter in 2009 by founding Cody Group LLC and partnering with The Mad Science Group, a Montreal-based franchisor. Now, as I approach my 70th birthday, I’m preparing for a lifestyle change and offering this business for sale- with great pride and some reluctance.

Over 17 years, we have:

Celebrated nearly 5,000 birthdays across the region
Built partnerships with 500+ schools, many returning annually
Hosted after-school programs, camps, and workshops year-round
Delivered 12 weeks of summer camps through parks & recreation programs and at our 3,500 sq. ft. Lab facility

Following COVID, we streamlined operations and repositioned for growth. In 2022, long-time employee Amanda Comeau became a corporate member and brought expanded marketing leadership. Together, we accelerated revenue from $145K in 2021 to $543K in 2025- more than 300% growth in four years.

Our team is lean and experienced:

Operations Director (since 2018) overseeing 15 contracted instructors
Marketing & Sales Assistant (since 2023)

Ownership actively involved in events and instruction

We operate from a 3,500 sq. ft. facility that includes warehouse space, offices, and an event Lab hosting 20-30 guests. The warehouse includes both operational and mezzanine storage space.
