JUNIOR BROKER

OVERVIEW OF ROLE

In this role, the Junior Broker will help to support more established and seasoned Brokers in order to build client relationships and facilitate business transactions.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND CANDIDATE QUALITIES

  • Assist brokers with the daily operations
  • Send and receive NDAs from clients/ network and insurers
  • Accompany senior brokers with visiting and entertaining customers in an effort to strengthen relationships and create business opportunities
  • Build out and expand upon client relationships
  • Aid in the day to day functions
  • Open to travel

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s degree, Business or Finance preferred
  • 2+ years of experience
  • Prior Trainee experience with a business broker or related industry
  • May require state or federal licensure depending on product area

 

FINANCIAL ANALYST

OVERVIEW OF ROLE

In this role, the Junior Broker will help to support more established and seasoned Brokers in order to build client relationships with and facilitate business dealings.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND CANDIDATE QUALITIES

The Analyst position will assist in reviewing financials, gathering financials, reviewing offers, qualifying potential buyers, and helping with owner discretionary earnings.

  • Creating proformas
  • Reviewing offers
  • Reviewing legal agreements
  • Collecting and analyzing due diligence information
  • Market analysis and forecasting
  • Business analysis
  • Creating contract exhibits
  • Strong financial skills and experience assisting with sales of a business
  • Proven Excel, writing, and communication skills; with sound judgment are a must

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

  • Undergraduate degree in finance, accounting or economics (or related work experience)
  • Excellent MS Excel, MS Word, MS PowerPoint, communication, and writing skills
  • 1-2 years of working with a business broker or related industry
  • Strong research skills
